Whew! Tis the season

I've been busy! A neighbor friend of mine is having her first girl. Most of us gals on the block all have boys only, including the guest of honor. So we wanted to throw her a "Pink-a-licious" girly party. My basement went from neutral-ness to the theme of Pink and Brown. Take a look:
We found these awesome looking Pom-Poms to make online.
8 sheets of tissue paper
Accordion folded 1 1/2 inches
Snipped the ends to a point (or you can cut the ends rounded)
18" wired in the middle
Then you slooooowly and carefully pull from the middle to fan them out.
You can make them look like flowers orrrrrrrr all the way around to make Pom-Pom's!

We covered my canvas paintings in pink wrapping paper

The Menu: Pink lemonade or Pink Champagne with Razzberry Rush...
Antipasta skewers and Fruit skewers
Won-ton tarts filled with Spinach Artichoke dip, bacon cheese dip, or shrimp dip, and BBQ meatballs

Under the glass plates we put the Baby Bingo cards.

Hot pink sprayed branches in tall cylinder vases filled with rock salt! And some cute baby birdies stuck on the branches. Our party favor was kiwi melon bath confetti in those cute little favor boxes, shaped similar to a carrot.... Bingo prize? A pink or white poinsetta! (stuck with the theme aaaannnnd with the season! Ha!!!) This Friday we are having a "white elephant" or "dirty santa" party in the same spot, my basement......... Think I might have to make some red and green "Pom-Poms"!!!!! Now I need to find a "Dirty Santa" gift.... hmmm, got any ideas?
