'Kins all in a row

Hi! Long time, no post! Oop!
Before it gets too late in the season, I had these cuuuute pumpkins that have lasted me years, that I wanted to show you! Family Fun magazine reminded me I had them! These are soooo easy! A needle, some thread and a circle of fabric. The stumps and leaves are free if you do a nature walk! LOL! This month FF mag has directions and other ideas for fabrics on how to make these cute 'kins. Click here to see their version.
I added silk autumn leaves to the stumps of my pumpkins. I'm going to have to try the fuzzy fabric kind. These below, are larger versions of the fabric pumpkins. Jute and raffia were used to decorate these and felt leaves that have sewn accents on each leaf. Here's a little bit of a closeup. As you can see the stumps are from actual pumpkins, just hot glued on. After the jute string was cinched to make the pumpkin detail and tied on the bottom a small green felt circle was hot glued to cover the knot of the string.

And for a bit of HALLOWEEN spooky, creepy, crawly-ness... I give you the Orb Spider that was successful in building his "Orbed" web in my pampas grass!!!!!!! Ewwww!!!!! He was huge!!!!! This is 15 feet off the ground hanging there in the breeze.... g'luck big guy......
